About Us
The Shedman was created over two decades ago by Gaston and Sue Robert, Berkshire County natives and Columbia County homeowners. Originally a home builder, Gaston shifted gears in 1987 when he and his wife Susanne decided to open Shedman. Twenty years later, the business continues to flourish, expanding and offering new products and options to meet the needs of today's customer. Gaston is still closely involved in all steps of the shedmaking process: continuing to help his team build, deliver, and install Shedman products. Susanne heads the business side of the operation, and can most often be found in the office or helping customers on one of the three lots. A family affair, the Roberts' daughters help out when home from college, and their son still pitches in when he can.
Shedman carries more than 35 styles of sheds in wood and vinyl also offering exciting Custom options, such as skylights, window boxes, double doors, garage doors, doors with windows, cement floors and more.
